First, the iron is lighter, although bulkier than a conventional iron, it is very handy as part of a steam power plant. The sole provides good glide, speed of quality. The anti-scale device allows both to use tap water but eventually it must consume a large amount of anti-scale and cost pods can be quite high compared to the use of demineralized water. The question is whether efficiency is at the rendezvous in time and if the lime is eliminated. Overall, this is a very satisfactory plant, fairly simple to implement. For quick pressings of one or two parts only, nothing really replace the traditional iron. But for the structural work, the plant is perfect.
