Have long wondered whether I should buy myself this soldering station, because basically I solder rarely and had been satisfied with a 5 Euro Irons)

I have now bought the soldering station and yet regret it for a second!

Positive:
- Rapid heating
- Processing
- Legible temperature display
- Easy handling
- Sufficiently long cable (soldering iron and power cord)

Negatives:
- The trough of the sponge could be deeper
- The sponge could be thicker

Sure, there are still analogue soldering stations at twice the price, but at home for occasional use, just a good price / performance ratio. Strong buy recommendation
