There is no photo with other adapters of the same mark using the Realtek chipsets - this one uses a Ralink.

In 2.4 GHz, the average flow between an access point (Eth 1Gbps connected to a testing machine) and the RPi2 up to 3.5 MB / s (against 2.5MB / s for a Realtek with the same WAP)
In 5 GHz, the average flow rate under the same conditions (and access point / identical machines) goes up to 6.5MB / s. We are far from theoretical throughput nevertheless (iwconfig related connection to 270 Mb / s).

The table remains around 1ms. The variability of ping also remains much lower than with the Realtek chipset.
Please note that the antenna version 1 product is based on Realtek.

Testing with nc (nectar) on transfers of 512MB. Distance RPi2 / WAP 450Mbps ~ 5m in direct view.

The case is a little long.
