Sound
With the sound I am very happy, rich bass and clean highs and clear midrange. With the headphones I can hear some songs instruments that I could not hear before with other headphones. With in-ear headphones can only sound good when the headphones fit perfectly, so be sure to use the correct attachments and press the headset into the ear!
Shielding
The shield outwards is super, with headphones in ear noise around me I can almost completely hide, so you can make the music more quietly, protects his ears and still hear everything super. The very good shielding ensures naturally subjectively for better sound.
Comfort
Comfort is also very good. I can understand the headphones for several hours in the ear can get without problems. The remote control cable is not too heavy and does not draw down therefore. The comfort is made possible by the appropriate attachments, which are a lot in the delivery, namely 2x Small, medium & 2x 2x Large, also were two pieces in size M already placed. The change is very simple, but not so simple that you would be afraid of losing the essays.
Longevity / choice of materials / workmanship
The earphones themselves are made of titanium and not only look strong from, they also feel like that. A ribbon cable is more durable than a normal cable and in practice it knotted significantly less than a normal cable, I stuff the headphones usually in my jacket pocket. All transitions, eg jack to cable, cable to the control panel and control unit to cable and cable to actually headphone pieces are made clean and not give the impression at some point to be a weak point. To what extent the cable now "Kevlar reinforced" are I can not judge, but the build quality and selection of materials makes a very good and long-lasting impression. If the headphones eventually go once broken, I will adjust this review accordingly.
Others
The remote control cable is functioning as it should, the middle button controls at 1x press Play / Pause, Next song at 2x, 3x with previous song and long press Siri (tested with iPhone 4S and iPad Mini, on the Macbook works the same, however, without Siri). Furthermore, you can take calls with the middle button of the remote control, refuse or terminate.
The built-in microphone allows a phone and also regarding the voice quality to my interlocutors have not complained.
Cable noise can not be avoided with in-ear headphones, I lead the cable but always inside (eg between t-shirt and sweatshirt) and not along the outside, which reduces cable noise considerably. The plug is gold plated and angled.
One complaint I have but then found the remote control buttons are identical, so you can not feel pure guess on which button you are in currently, but should only feel up or down to realize where you are.
Conclusion / price performance
Who the same criteria as are important to me, can strike without hesitation for a price of around 70. Supersound, stylish design, good choice of materials and hopefully a long life.
The criticism of the previous speaker that the cable curls and the controller does not work I can not confirm. The cable is not dirty with me, so I do not see any benefit in it .... wipe
