When you turn you will be from a nice female voice greeted "Welcome to Dolcer Air Notes" followed by "Bluetooth Mode" or if a microSD is inserted "SD Card Mode". Once you have established a Bluetooth connection this is confirmed with "Bluetooth Connected".
The Bluetooth speaker has a mini-USB connector for charging different from the 2nd Gen olive that has a MicroUSB jack, Micro USB I would prefer since it is standard also in mobile phones and so only a charging cable would be needed. The speaker also features a AuxIn jack (3.5mm) and has an FM tuner integrated.
The FM tuner is receiving a little weak and the radio volume also significantly lower than over Bluetooth or SD card.
A drawback is that the battery is unlike the 2nd Gen Olive, integrated and the device thus has an expiration date. I do not see a possibility the device destructively to open the cells with new ones to swap even on closer inspection.
Operation is simple, unfortunately the manual is also kept extremely short. For example, no mention of how long the charging time is and whether the glowing when charging red ring disappears or not. He does it ... this ring starts when you turn on blue blinking quickly it flashes when the device is not connected and slowly when one is made. Similarly, the panel is permanently lit what battery power costs.
Draws the charge status to an end begins the ring one by wiping clockwise or counter the volume setting to blink again red, but since this flash is not synchronized with the blue flashing occurs at certain intervals to overlays and there is an on the Pink ... So you have then in addition to the white Lighted arrow keys for play, forward, back and to the Green button for call answering even a Blue Pink Red flashing ring in the middle. There are nowhere (not even in the sparse instructions) information on the capacity of the batteries made with me but the speaker plays bass heavy music over several hours in 3/4 of the maximum volume.
I would buy it again and can make buying good conscience recommend it.
