Good sound quality 6

This IP phone Siemens has many qualities:
- Connecting to both the analog network and the router to enjoy the classic lines and those passing through the Internet (VoIP).
- Offers many audio codecs, so it is possible to define the VOIP quality depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
- Import directory: If you have a directory (vCard) you can import it into the phone.
- Ability to connect the answering machine with a simple touch.
- Possibility to simply add other Siemens handsets at the base, even a different model.
- You can adjust the power of the base and handset, which reduces the harmful waves from mobile phones home (DECT) - among the worst because of low frequencies.
- You can switch off the handset. In this case, the base no longer emits wave either. When the phone is turned on again, it will restore the connection automatically.
- You can direct calls from one line to a handset, call another line to another handset, or sound overall.
- 8 different possible suppliers simultaneously: Gigaset, your classic supplier and six VoIP providers.
- The phone is stylish.

Some disadvantages:
- I find quite feeble battery, turning off the handset night phone takes four days at most. However you can change the batteries (NiMH included) for more powerful.

- The VoIP settings is simple if you know all the settings for your VoIP provider.
- Dispose of g711 codecs G722, g726, g729. The g711 codec is a quality similar to a conventional landline. The G722 provides a higher quality (but requires a broadband connection). More phone / VoIP provider is faced with different codecs, less call quality is good apparently.
