Short View:
- Packing: Each string is individually wrapped and clearly labeled so that the ball ends do not have to be stained and you still immediately know which string you now hold in your hand. Everything is packaged in a small cardboard box again.
- Strings: The strings have all at the top of a cut of the jacket, which threading through the body and the mechanics somewhat relieved. But that's usually the case. The ball ends are not color coded, but that is of no consequence because the label individual packaging. As described, the highest string broke when pulling, without having been coated. There is a point deduction.
- Sound: After the strings have recorded something and not go out of tune so strong they sound pleasantly clear and provide a nice "screaming" distorted sound, but are well suited for cleanes game. Subtracting times ancient strings of the guitar, the difference is already huge, and one imagines at first "Yikes, that's still my guitar?". The high E string, however, is of a different brand.
- Playability: I have the strings again worked with Fastfret, which improves the playability again. But still you could tell that it slides very clean over the strings and you appreciably less resistance than in my old strings. How does the playability in the long time developing, I can not say now. New broom sweeps clean, and this is generally even with strings. It starts pleasantly definitely.
Conclusion: The strings are very good to have around 10 euros for a set but at a price. Comparable strings cost 3 Pack barely. All the more annoyed because of course the broken string. Since I had the string straight threaded only and had little train on the string, I would not rule out a material error, since the string broke exactly at the "Umknickstelle" on the mechanics, although this had not once made a revolution.
