This SSD comes in a very economical packaging. In the box there is a plastic container in which the SSD is in an anti-static bag and the addition to the SSD to increase in the overall height is glued to this package. Under the plastic bag you will find the list to activate Acronis True Image HD software. The SSD was installed as usual quickly, however, was (for whatever reason) recognized at the 2nd start at my computer. NTFS format are then a 465 GB memory. So far so good. The what is important - the speed - I was a little disappointed. On the picture you can see the read and write rates of the latest and best (?) Series of Crucial. The values are naturally fine and not a total Aufall, but when I compare it with my Samsung 840 250GB Evo, I would have expected as a layman better values. Specifically, the following differences has in my run result: Seq Read: 1.5MB / s was the Crucial better Seq Write: 2.4MB / s was the Crucial worse The only "relevant" differences were observed at 512K and 4K Write QD32 write. Here the Crucial has the old Samsung SSD beaten by about 200MB / s and 100 MB / s.
Incidentally, I found the idea Acronis True Image resolve a good thing, because I'm just been looking for a back-up software. Unfortunately, these are a scaled down version that only displays for a fee of 29.95 euros once their full potential. Here I am, unfortunately, but disappointed some of the better trial.
Whether one is now taking Crucial or Samsung, every self is left, but you should expect from the new MX200 series no quantum leaps ..
