Good stock selection - CD 3 cover versions

This time the Kuschelrock makers for a 3 CD set chose a total of 57 songs. The total playing time was. On CD 1 with 74:34 min., CD 2 with 78:24 min and in CD 3 with 78:37 min. pretty neat exploited.

On CD 1, there are rather gentle and on CD 2 rather the mainstream rock charts or title. It's like always trying the old and the new buyer to operate alike. However, it remains as always personal taste.

On CD 3, there is a new approach in the compilation. Here we have chosen cover versions of more or less known titles. In my opinion, the implementation is quite successful. Only the last track of Whitney Houston was already included on the Kuschelrock 22.

My cuddly favorites are: Coldplay, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Milow, Ed Sheeran, Silvermoon, Rob Thomas, Walk Off The Earth, Beyonce, Sting, Reamon, Sunrise Avenue, Colbie Caillat, Norah Jones, Take That, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, Chris de Burgh, Lene Marlin, Simply Red, Lou Reed, Sade, Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman, Seal, George Michael, Katie Melua & Eva Cassidy, Joana Zimmer, Jennifer Rush, Annie B Sweet, KD Lang and remembered Whitney Houston.

After a review of the artist list can be observed that there is often always the same artist (Coldplay, James Blunt, Katie Melua, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Xavier Naidoo) find their way to the CDs in recent years. Where is the opportunity for the many other great artists? Are there deter potential licensing costs of other record companies that then? Unfortunately, the survey of customers were also adjusted. But I draw from a half star rating.

Looking at the entire selection is the balanced ratio of more recent (2000 u. 2010s) (70 to 90s) were added to the older songs perfectly. In addition I have the existing songs by the appropriate music decades:

CD 3: 80s: Title 19 / 90s: Title 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, / 2000s: Title 1, 6, 7, 13, 14, 16 / 2010s: Title 4, 9, 11, 15, 17, 18

The CD Kuschelrock sound is dynamic and clear that's fine.

On the equipment was saved but clearly here to former Kuschelrock spending. The CDs can be found here in a 3 Digipackbox. A booklet with photos of Kuschelrock couple, lyrics or additional information eg Kuschelhotel Tip for Kuschelrock series etc are no longer present. That costs a half star rating!

The info's the year of production, composer, lyricist, producer and playing time of the songs are printed below the transparent CD holder. The CDs are equipped with CD-Text.

Conclusion: For new buyers of Kuschelrock a decent cross-section. For fans and collectors a good issue, taking into account the aforementioned criticisms.
