Toyer (Paperback)

Customer Review

Maude Garance is physiatrist (the French term, dear translator, is: physical medicine and rehabilitation) to Kippness Hospital. It faces a Machiavellian pervert (Toyer) does not kill his victims, but leaves the invalid to the last degree, living vegetables. Maude can not stand this situation, when he saw the victims in his service. She will join a smart journalist, Sara, to make him fall. The result is a game of cat and mouse, since Toyer will also want to trap. The suspense is panting, especially at the end.
The style is unique: short chapters, each with the perspective of a different character. When the action is racing, shorter chapters. The sentences are short, too, although found images. Excellent polard, a little long, but the story justifies.
