Programming Scala (Paperback)

Customer Review

This book is a good summary of the Scala language. Unlike the excellent "Programming in Scala" it happens to make a full presentation on language 250 pages, which is very valuable to the reader who does not want the hassle of a keypad. Personally I often take with me for occasional readings during trip or long distance move.
Although title suggests that the author will address the multicore programming, the book does not specifically detail this point (no more than other books).
If you want a book to address Scala without investing in a Bible, this book is a good choice.
