I own the station BAR800 oregon for a week now and after testing its reliability is my return:
the "+":
_ Very nice design, the magnets are well thought out and sufficiently sturdy to keep the station on the fridge.
_ The external sensor connects perfectly and easily to the main weather station.
_ Two temperature sensors are reliable (checks made with professional weather information of internet sites close to home).
_ The humidity sensor / humidity are reliable too.
_ The indication of weather prediction based on barometric pressure worked perfectly (verification made with local business information).
the "-":
_ Radio synchronization is not working and it is not a matter of poor signal reception. I have two other clock / alarm oregon placed in the same place and that sync perfectly with the radio signal. There is a real concern about this feature. Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.
_ I opened the station to see the quality of manufacturing and try to repair the worries of sync. The construction is very average ... One example among other, the sealing of the outer module seal does not have adequate size and was returned to power in the gutter of the case ...
Conclusion: I keep the station despite the worries of sync and for 60 euros I am delighted with my purchase.
