Good treadmill for bad weather

At Christmas I bought the treadmill to start the New Year with good intentions. After I've read a lot on the Internet about treadmills, I came across this device by the 20% Christmas promotion from Amazon.

Important for me (1.91 m, 95 kg, shoe size 46) was that the tread is as large as possible, the performance is adequate to a few reserves to have upwards (speed and weight), the device can be folded to save space and the price should be in the lower / middle area. Therefore, the choice fell on the Kettler Axos Runner.

What is there to say now about the device? The structure is relatively simple, the assembly instructions could be made simpler thoroughly. With a bit of patience and skill which is not a problem. After about 30 - 45 minute then the device is ready for use before a making a very stable and solid impression. This is the way towards the complete unit with equipment. It makes everything a whole a very sophisticated look.

My first test run was then a training program from the computer. There are 3 different speed to each programs and slope-dependent programs each with 3 different level. The first run on a treadmill for me was a little unusual. One runs, the space remains, however, and it quickly becomes quite boring! Especially since you always have the clear computer running time, distance and calories burned in front of him. With TV o. Ä. You can see the time but well spent.

The use of the computer is relatively simple. You can also create your own user program. But I prefer a manual control, which goes very well with the keys also while walking. Practical is the height adjustment of the belt, with which you can adjust the tilt angle of up to 10% while running to simulate mountain runs. However, the integrated pulse measurement by laying hands on the handle I dare not really, because the measurement outputs very different values, but as a small clue it might be quite nice.

What is definitely a wise investment for the treadmill, is a place mat. The motor is relatively little noise, but the shocks are transmitted to the ground what others can disturb anything by running. Overall, I find the device but not too loud (but have since also no comparison with other devices).
Ultimately, I have to say that the device is a great alternative if you still want to fast in the evening for a run and the weather is bad. A run in the fresh air is of course no substitute. Especially for my height, the device is perfectly acceptable, but a smaller tread I would not have.

"Only" four points there are of me and why not five, as the forwarding has turned off the machine at the front door and no further. Not even with the indication that large-scale equipment at Amazon come up to the desired destination. So I had to worry about transportation to the cellar itself, which is not without at 90 kg.
In addition, the vial was broken with the silicone oil to be applied between treadmill and plate, so I had to complain it only at Kettler. However, it was sent within a week free replacement. But as long as I could not test the device, since damage due to lack of lubrication are excluded from the guarantee.

But all in all a great device!
