Good TV with no frills for a small price

The cable TV reception my daughter on an ancient TV with CRT aroused my sympathy.

The decision for the LG-42LA6136 was right. Good picture (when properly adjusted), sound OK, but eh reproduced on a Samsung home theater system, which I have spiced up with an active subwoofer.
