Today the engineer of customer service was there. The compressor is over (after just over two years), repair cost is estimated 400 (purchase price of the unit in February 2012: 319). Already pretty steep, a new purchase would be worth more. However Bomann accepts also had this repair as a goodwill gesture, happiness. Thus we get half year warranty on the compressor (alone). I hope that we will remain so in the near future be spared from further problems.
Still, I find it crass that a new purchase (with momentary price 360) would still be cheaper than a repair.
But now even the device itself:
In the two years the combination of refrigerator and freezer was doing a good job. While there are certainly quieter equipment, but this is with us in the finished kitchen, which is why I have not felt that noise (down to the final days before the defect) as disturbing. The high volume that is mentioned here in some reviews, I can not bestätigigen.
At level 1 (7) of the refrigerator reached an internal temperature of 7 degrees, which I am very happy as this was not a problem in summer. The very good anyway specified power consumption was therefore perhaps even lower. I can confirm the lens but not because I've never measured it.
The interior is large and extends for a 2.5 person household, if you do not really want to hoard goods requiring refrigeration en masse.
Somewhat negative I found here also have often mentioned wet back wall inside. Water condenses there, freezes and defrosts after a certain time, so that it runs down. Therefore, the back is actually continuously wet, so you should push through any products directly to end. Because of the melt water, the flow is very stressed and mildew easily. A biannual, quick cleaning of the process prevents this problem before but. Nevertheless, I see this as a negative point and founded hereby the withdrawal of a star.
All in all I would recommend this device to others. Although it was annoying that my device was broken shortly after the end of the warranty period, I'm assuming that I just had bad luck and this is no regularity. Respect. the repair by the customer service I will add a response even further once this has taken place.
