For about a week I have the Bomann KSW 445 CB Coffee grinder. I, too, had been given all the beans and found no one who could lend me a mill. Because I was not sure I wanted to stay with the use of whole beans, the new mill should not cost too much money. We brew our coffee by hand with coffee filters, that is, the beans should be ground very fine. We also have an espresso machine that is used occasionally. Here, too, a fine grind is helpful. At first use, even I could convince myself that the Bomann Kaffemühle works quite quietly. There is no problem as long as the finger to remain on the switch, until the beans are ground fine powder. It's a jiffy. I do not know who can handle 40g coffee beans for 20 cups of coffee, in our rich 5 Coffee measure beans ground coffee for a liter and thus the mill will also almost full. (About 6 Coffee measure bean yield 40g) But since we brew rarely more than a liter of coffee at the same time, the amount is enough. The objection that the finely ground powder sticks in the container is justified. However, there is no problem with a pastry brush to dissolve the residue and would not stop me at this price it to buy the unit again. Basically, I set the mill upside down and knock the coffee powder in the plastic lid. What then still sticks, is ausgepinselt directly above the slightly larger coffee filters, so little bib. Conclusion: The machine delivers what it promises good performance at low cost. How long I can not say by holding it at present. and whether freshly ground beans a better flavor result as vacuum-packed coffee everybody has to decide for me. The cable storage is very convenient, the instrument can be used for space-saving storage. I would buy according to the current state of affairs the unit at any time and also recommend.
