I rarely use the glue gun (1-2 times a month), I have decided for the cheapest model and am so far (after about 10 uses) very satisfied. Although heat that lasts quite long (about 10 minutes) and the gun itself after a certain time not only on the front of the top hot, but also far around it - but that is possibly yes on all models so ??? For our purposes, it is perfectly adequate and I'm very happy with it.
