Actually you need in the digital age no special UV filter more because the lenses are already paid a very high quality. However, in order etc. my lenses from dust, dirt better protect, I bought the B + W XS-Pro UV filter, because it cost as much as a clear filter. Workmanship and quality are top, but with screwed filter can be with me no more sun visor screws on the lens. The filter is about 0.1 mm, which would be sufficient. I have therefore screwed onto my WW-Lens, here I have no sun visor. Otherwise, I regret to say: hands off, is not always top-filter!
