Paris Kills is the third album of the 69 eyes. And I say that it is the best of five Finns. But the booklet is already designed very chic. Unlike the predecessors "Wasting The Dawn" and "Blessed be" there is no great loss of quality between the songs. You can hear clearly that the group has evolved. Although they now go a little more in the rock direction, which was evident already in "Blessed be", however, and is in no way negative to understand. Timo-Timo, Archzie, Jussi, Bazie and Jyrki impress with a clear line and not so much experimental stuff. The sampler is consistently gloomy, melancholic and slightly depressed. Just typical Finnish one might think. The 69 Eyes now no longer need behind their compatriots of HIM or Apocalyptica to hide. A total of ten pieces includes "Paris Kills". The opener "Crashing High" is made very pop. At least for 69 ratios. "Dance d'Amour" is the most beautiful song on the album. A very depressing song I think. Jyrki proves impressively that he also mastered a little French. No wonder the Finns have brought out the song as a single. "Betty Blue" was also decoupled and brought as Maxi among the people. A rock-romantic love song. "Grey" is a little weaker than the rest of the songs. It's here to quieter and darker. With the song "Radical" we would have reached half of the album. "Radical" is relatively slow and very sad in my opinion. "Do not turn your back on fear" I take on without concern in the Top 3 of the album. Very rock number with a catchy chorus. Another highlight of the group. "Stigmata" reminds me a bit of the music invasion of the wrestlers like Edge, etc. Pretty fleet number with a strong bass. Wonderful piece. "Forevermore" is also a song, which is very nice. Also quite sad. In certain situations, this song brings a determined on the edge of the deep depression. The penultimate song "Still waters run deep" completes my top 3. A catchy melody combined with a relatively simple (not negatively understand) text leaves a notice that song well. Very nice piece with a bit of melancholy romance. "Dawn's Highway" is the last song on the album. The beginning is somewhat reminiscent of relaxing music. But after a short time it is then already over with the relaxation. Timo-Timo and Bazie bring the listener back impressively. The song is the perfect finale because it conveys a mood of farewell. You can really associate the song with the picture how to separate themselves from a particular person, and must go away on a highway of this person. Very melancholy song. All in all, "Paris Kills" is so typical of the troupe. The best ever album, and definitely worth the money.
