Not unlike "Wormwood" or "Fell", this new edition of Delcourt confirms the ability to scout talent of this great house. Relatively thick, this album offers the peregrinations of a new unusual hero detective who has the power to know everything about what he eats ... which leads him to taste the corpses he meets in order to trace its history. This original set up will of course lead to the situations rather far-fetched, in a national context where poultry was banned following the H1N1 virus, the latter subject to an illegal market akin to the drug.
Tony Chu, fired its police department, is being hired by the SAR, special section which already employs another "cibopathe" the same talents Chu, who became his teammate under the leadership of a tyrannical higher.
The bright and modern design, and sliced the net line, dug characters and strong personality, and the bad boys palette give this book a true originality and a true density. Original and "fresh" (the term is a misnomer!), "Tony Chu" is part of this new wave of authors who surf world events and use it wisely.
