Unfortunately had when buying my iPad does not ensure that it has no integrated GPS. A purchased app for evaluation of driving on the track did not work logically then also.
Although the instruction manual mentions only the connection to iPad 2 and 3, but I can say that the iPad 4 is supported. The Bluetooth connection works fine when I parallel a wireless connection to the OBD2 interface of my car made.
