As already talking about the reader impression to the second part, I would like all of our readers who have not read the previous books "City of Bones" and "City of Ashes", warn that things I tell here that you can not know.

After Clary won the battle against Valentine by a newly invented Rune for the demon hunter at the end of the second book, also shows the "Clave" (in Dt. Probably the Council) interest in Clary. Jace, however, they will protect against these very people and traveling without them to Idris. But Clary, who wants to get the counter-spell for the sleep her mother in Idris, an own portal creates to Idris.
There, in the city of glass, the Clave counseled just about how to proceed against Valentine, as this provides them with an ultimatum. All power and persuasiveness of the Demon Hunter Clary and Jace to be asked.

My Opinion:

The last part of the fantastic in both senses of the trilogy has made me sad. Of course, because it was so poorly written not, but simply because of the fact that he was the last.
I had been closed not only the main characters, but also many of the supporting characters in the heart. In particular, Luke, which but reminds rather of Sirius Black from Harry Potter.
For action I can say is exciting, thrilling, exciting, but again with a large pinch of humor. The author succeeds in my opinion, to link up all the loose threads at the end spun credible. I was the "resolution" of the whole set very satisfied, even though she was quite predictable from a certain date. This would also be the only point to complain about at a high level: I would have liked to be surprised more often by the action.

All in all I liiiiiiebe this Fantasy series which can compete easily with "Harry Potter". Cassandra Clare was known by the way fanfiction about the most famous sorcerer's apprentice, before she began to write 'independent' stories.
But still, the second part was my favorite and can not be topped by this, so that there is of me 4.5 of 5 points; but 4.5 with asterisks. :)
