Of course, this album from 1992 has nothing in common with the first three classics from the seventies - of course not! The Ramones had evolved over time and just released in the eighties some unfortunate and rather less successful albums (with the exception of "brain drain"). One has the Ramones just divided into 2 periods. The "with" Dee Dee Ramone and beyond. I have no idea why one so often reads that "Mondo Bizarro" is to be a rather insignificant and mediocre album. Sometimes I wonder if these critics have heard the album at all. It is together with the farewell album "Adios Amigo" a blast album of the highest quality. The difference from the very earliest, the aforementioned classics is that they are here to "normal" alternative punk rock songs and are not to the 1:50 minute, one two three four numbers from earlier. The songs are composed with correct verses and choruses and varies in tempo and arrangement - so versatile. But ultimately, it is clearly a Ramones album! It's incredibly well produced, has a huge deep and powerful sound (especially the drums could not sound better). The songs are from front to rear punchy and catchy chases the other. My favorites are "Censorshit, the Doors remake" Take It As It Comes "(a hammer !!!) and my favorite number:" Anxiety ". A fantstisches album so from the Ramones-modern times! Buy !!!
