Graveyard of memories

Graveyard of Memories (A John Rain Novel) (Paperback)

Customer Review

After "The Unit" I was wondering how it would go with the aging super killer John Rain. The return to the past, the birth of a Ronin, a masterless samurai, was not necessarily brilliant, but highly effective method.

John Rain is Japanese-Americans, an uprooted citizens of the world, everywhere and nowhere at home. At seventeen he volunteered for duty in Vietnam, ended up with the Special Forces. All he can do is to kill and survive.

He kills for money and without hesitation, but he rules. Rules that make him human and prevent them from becoming a monster. A monster like the CIA and the other henchmen of the powerful of this world that know no borders.

Graveyard of Memories is the development of a novel Killers with a conscience. An odd, touching love story about a disabled woman.

And a brief, dry declaration of love to the great jazz trumpeter Terumasa Hino.

Very worth reading.
