Software
The unit offers a variety of interesting online offerings, from TV content of certain channels (ARD Tagesschau, etc.) about Youtube to an integrated Internet browser. The navigation (except for the Internet browser) is very easy. However, it is from a total and slow to something. Since this is my first Blu-ray player of this kind, I can not judge if this is normal.
Calling broadcasts and YouTube videos is simple, internet browser, I found the other hand, not so easy to use, since the device in this case often reacted very sluggish.
For this, I would deduct half a star. But basically bothers me not because I anyway use the player to play rather than for surfing. And since you can not assign half stars on Amazon, I'll make no deduction.
Compatibility
According to the specifications of the players get along with many file formats. I tested only playing .mkv videos from a USB flash drive except Blu-ray and DVD. That was smooth. The USB stick is detected quickly, the device also comes with NTFS clear. Without detours you end up with the software on the USB content and can play the videos. Even the previous, rewind and pause by .mkv videos ran with no dropouts.
Image
The picture quality is really excellent and surprised me. And not just for Blu-rays. Also the upscaling of DVDs and .mkv videos from a connected USB flash drive looks very good!
Clay
Due to lack of surround system I do not rate the sound.
