At the beginning of all, there was a little boy named Christopher Robin, who was playing with his favorite stuffed Winnie. Mr Milne, his father, decides to tell him the adventures of his teddy bear in the Hundred Acre Wood. And of course, Christopher Robin has also its importance and never hesitates to help his best friend, when it is in danger!
Winnie the Pooh is the first novel in which the hero is Winnie. This book of magic, blend of humor and good feelings, promotes friendship and mutual aid, all in an atmosphere that is reminiscent of the power of the absurd: most endearing characters all are as each other but apart Christopher Robin, they do not shine by their intelligence ... but that's okay, because we love them as they are, these curious fluff who make mischief. I especially appreciated Eeyore (Eeyore), the small depressive donkey loses his tail constantly. It is twisting by some of his lines, always very ironic.
Playing with text to create shapes and new sensations reading, drawings Shepard add much charm to the story. This novel is inseparable from its original illustrations as complementary. Alas, the adventures of Pooh and Christopher Robin are no longer available in France ...
