In short, here is my opinion together ruched to the device itself:
- Performance for the price (339, -) class, I think!
- Processing well, a lot of plastic, but meticulously crafted and the feel is good!
- Keyboard: Prima! I like!
- Big screen, viewing angle dependent and reflective, but also as far as a "good"!
- Very quiet operation.
- The Wi-Fi reception seems to be good ...
- In short: For Office / Internet I would recommend it (currently) immediately.
For operating system on the computer (now):
- Ubuntu 14.04 installed!
- No problems during installation (FreeDOS replaced) disk is recognized as a single.
Additional info: In the BIOS / UEFI nothing has changed. Installation with LAN connection to the INet.
- Ubuntu has now all integrated to drivers and enabled for Wi-Fi as an added! Top!
- Bluetooth is displayed as running, but I have not tested.
- Graphics card (Intel HD something) works immediately without any problems with Unity.
- Very fast operation! Outstanding!
- Overall: I would recommend Ubuntu Linux for this device!
Conclusion:
Immediately again, so I should recommend a budget laptop for non-gaming applications.
With Ubuntu and Unity for two senior citizens easily and quickly, for the notebook / Ubuntu was intended!
I just hope that the hardware keeps now also quite long.
