I want to mention anyway that I hoped for a quite trivial appearing progress to my Full-HD Camcorder another brand and have actually found: It happened to me again if I did not put the Einschalträdchen OFF that something accidentally on the start button pressed and terribly long shots are passed from utter nonsense. During editing of a three week trip that has become very time consuming. I had to look again and again, whether still appears a deliberate scene. This is finally closing. The camera turns on when the display is opened or the viewfinder is pulled out. It switches off again when the display collapsed and the viewfinder are retracted. Prima.
For the hopeful amateur who has not delved into the topic 4K me a note seems appropriate. You can currently only view the 4K video from the camera directly to the 4K TV via HDMI cable as 4K.
Normally I cut with Premiere Pro CC 2014. The 4K material can be imported and processed. Very handy to import the first 4K file and it create a sequence with the specifications of the file. Then working with a project in 4K. Disappointed might be the unprepared, if it finds that the Blu-ray - production only in Full-HD (currently and probably even longer) possible. I have a new Sony Blu-ray Player ordered me, which leads the characters "4K" in the description (to me mildly), assuming of course, naive, there is now some progress, the 4K files via DLNA or get USB flash drive to the TV screen. Is not everything !. Sony Support for the player has yet proposed, with a level editor to change the level of 5.1 to 4.1. Unsuccessfully. Another support staff has finally confirmed that 4K does not go via a USB stick. Online searches suggest that there could be 2015 first player end of the year, bringing the native 4K on the screen. Whether it might be possible to cut with the included software and play back the results in 4K on the Handycam, I have not yet tried.
Since I already initially did not intend to purchase a Ultra-HD / 4K TV screen, the result for me is easily portable. I enjoy the quality of the camera and their shots just kept on Full-HD.
