Benefits:
+ Company ABUS stands for quality and this is confirmed (printed on chain should already draw one or the other thief on another bike, which acts easier to crack.)
+ Heavy chain, is very stable, despite the low security classification (previously had another castle that had a higher level, but seemed less stable)
+ Black bow makes the chain look very solid and serves as a protection of frame and so on '
+ Lock can be easily and quickly open
+ Castle has a dirt protection (great word), which is likely the castle clean and protect long before wear.
+ Length of the chain entirely sufficient to bind eg frame + tires to a lantern.
+ Value for money. Subjectively, because the power is not objectively measurable. At least until the first serious test ;-)
Disadvantages:
- The fact that the chain is flexible, it depends by many and touched the chain quickly. However, this is not a disadvantage, because this is the nature of flexible chains.
Conclusion: There are chains, also by ABUS at a higher security level, but I think the chain completely sufficient to prevent risks of theft. In my opinion, it comes anyway to a deterrent effect. Anyone who wants to steal a bicycle, the will not stop even a higher standard. Bicycle locks in this category are always meant for a 'slight' attack, if one can put it that. But this chain is ideally suited.
I would buy them again at any time.
