After a period of acclimatization, I am now very happy with the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. Since I already had used previously an Ultrabook, I opted for the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro mainly for three reasons: 1. The fantastic display with 3200 x 1800 pixels 2. The versatility as Tablet and Notebook 3. The good for me relationship between mobility and performance Strong alternative was, of course, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, because of its lower price and - according to my research - better performance (CPU) at only slightly lower mobility I opted for the 2er. Comparable Surface Pro models were simply too expensive. Windows 7 coming is a 8.1 naturally getting used and I'm learning slowly to appreciate the advantages over the impediments. Although this does not really have anything to do with the unit, this is the hardest part for me of acclimatization. One problem that I had moved almost to return, were regelmäߟige wireless crashes, some of which attracted even the wireless connection of other devices affected. The answer was that the connection to my blue-tooth mouse Lenovo disturb the wireless network. Although this is probably not a pure Lenovo problem that is already very disturbing. Am now resorted to a still existing wireless mouse. A change in the WLAN frequency should probably help, but I have not tried. (See UPDATE) A few details: - The display is really amazing! Something I have not seen better and I already had to sample a MacBook Pro with Retina Display. For me, yoga has itself against the edge. - The SSD is huge with plenty of space for a 512GB SSD. Of course, Lenovo knappst them something for restoration etc. from, but you know this by now and is probably now always so. In the 128 GB SSD in my last Ultrabook has me still annoyed, but at 512 GB which falls naturally hardly significant. - The Core i7 is of course a mobile version and classified according to the range of services. But carries a mobile device so lots of power. - The memory of 8GB is for me more than enough. - With ASUS gave '€ ™ s still a bag, a USB Ethernet adapter and VGA adapter to. The Lenovo has calculated differently and you have unfortunately to buy extra. - About Micro-HDMI you can connect displays or televisions. When connecting to a TV via the micro HDMI I noticed that you have to insert the connector with power to have contact. A movement of cable or device then leads easily to the loss of contact. But could sometimes be on cable. - The air vents are practically on top of the keyboard. If I'm considering the device as a Tablet folded on her lap, I canopies by the vents. To avoid that, I turn the Gerä't then always 180 degrees. More a luxury problem. ;) The bottom line for me is the Convertible Ultrabook. Only with my blue-tooth mouse really annoyed me and there is a point deduction. Who has little use for blue-tooth, may be the 5th star like to think so.
UPDATE 04/01/2015: Have the latest wireless driver from the Intel Web site for the WLAN chipset installed. Intel's version is from 01.26.2015 17.14.0 ([...]). Lenovo offers even the version 17.13.2 from 12/17/2014 for download. Since no wireless problems more and my blue-tooth mouse I can use it again. why now full 5 stars from me.
