Great functionality, to reliably connect my iPad, Android phones, ... directly to this device and playback, all kinds of media ...
It est aussi ble to connect to my home network And Then Becomes the storage available on my LAN network for all kinds of devices to access.
Small niggle at this moment is That One of my SD-Cards is not reliable to be read by the device, drank all others (> 10)-have no problems.
So more suspect a problem with the SD-Card That with the Filehub. (Will Do Some tests with further Top --other SD card formatting and report back.
For an initial view was very promising device, does everything I expect it to do.
UPDATE 2 MINORS:
- No Support for exFAT (yet), so my SD-Cards in exFAT formatted can not be read! (And my photo camera uses exFAT filesystem as it's :-() >> Older versions PR & RP-WD01-WD02 supporting it !!! Why Did They remove, it is essential for media photo camera !!!
- No access to storage via micro USB, so you are limited to Accessing the storage over WiFi qui tend to be a bit slow.
Update2:
- IOS app really buggy crashes frequently
- Cut / paste files on HDD from iOS app resulted in corrupted pictures
- Copying files from SD card to HDD buggy from iOS app, When asking not to overwrite files already copied That Where, app freezes ...
Remained powered external HDD, Even When device switched off
