First you have to, as in more complex worker placement games, using its two shells in the archipelago in order to select the possible actions for that round. After all their shells have been used, the ship sails to the small archipelago, so that one is on the outward and return journey of the series. One can build huts, take cards, pull amulets from a bag, starting players will (by moving the birds of paradise on the oracle rock).
The cabins are built by placing land and resource tiles.
At the end there are points for the majority of huts in a row and a column, moreover, there are again two 9x9 squares large areas which are counted separately.
I think this game is really very suitable for families. I especially like that younger players can learn the worker placement mechanism and that the luck factor is very low.
