This Fisheye offers a real alternative here. Now for some information for other buyers.
To put it at the beginning of this, I bought the seemingly identical objective of the company Samyang. As you come here in search for Samyang on this lens, I write here to the recession. Visually, the two lenses are the same.
PROCESSING:
I was surprised about the processing of this lens. The materials are high quality. The lens has a metal bayonet and the housing is made of high quality material. The bayonet at my lens is a Canon bayonet. No need for adapters. The bayonet is a perfect fit. The setting rings for focus and iris are smooth.
Optical performance:
The image quality corresponds to ensure no quality fisheye lens, but it is perfectly acceptable, even at more elevated claims. At higher ISO values the lens much earlier reacts with strong noise.
The image is displayed on the Cropkamera without black borders. and fills the entire screen.
FUN FACTOR:
If you have only once seen what others have photographed with a fisheye, then come already a great idea. The enormous image section opens up new perspectives.
CONCLUSION:
Because of what you get for the money, I give the lens 5 stars. There are certainly better Fisheyes, but not for the price.
Most who have really tried it in advance, are thrilled.
