The Geiger counter came in one day and already enjoys while unpacking. The device is much smaller than expected and therefore very easy to handle, has a pleasant color display where important information is presented clearly. The unit displays the radiation level also for layman in 3 stages: normal, increased radiation or dangerous to. In addition, the current radiation appears in microsieverts per hour for professionals always. The test on a clock with radioactive luminous paint immediately pointed to the increased value. Even 20g potash (potassium 40) were shown reliably than increased radioactive. The settings allow, for example, setting a limit or turning on / off of the ticker, the automatic switch-off after a certain time or adjusting the display brightness, etc. I was very pleasantly surprised! For high precision measurements presumably devices with 2 or more counter tubes are more closely, however, it is at least 3 times the price to pay and who needs it!
