Great game, puny material

I think risk fantastic! It's fun, it's much strategy here, but also a spark of happiness and can be very flexible play with 2-5 players. That's great, but now there is nothing too special, after all risk since 1957. If someone the game should not like, there is certainly no doubt that the game would be especially bad.

One thing I miss, however. everyone knows determines the ancient, worn boxing game from home, or as they sometimes find in Grabbelkisten or friends under the sofa, who also translated the games from her family.
Risk only consists of three elements: the board, mission maps and units. The game board is wonderful, because I have nothing to complain about, but the cards! They're insanely thin, bend immediately, tear and dissolve. This is a real Centartikel! These cards are not matched by 5 years! You have to buy more soon new. That really disappointed me.
The units, however, are surprisingly detailed. One can see from the little soldier's hat, boots and even belts and pistols can be identified. But still you can also find in these all production residues and small "plastic leaves" of which you should still free the units. As the game idea has proven for almost 60 years, I really wanted to rather vote in my review the pure material properties of the game, but I have the game now pass but with reingenommen.

ADDENDUM:

The soldiers are useless -.- so small and skinny, the traps already itself around, once you put them on the game board. You need broader base on which they could stand. It's just annoying and not good for the game, if the soldiers constantly just lying around and it is hard mnachmal to see the area in which they initially "were". Exrtrem annoying! I see myself now in order for an alternative to the stake accompanying soldiers.
