At the construction site, I use a LiIon wrenches Makita- in the workshop I had to annoy me always a NiMh Makita screwdriver. When I once wanted to use the workshop wrench every 2 weeks, the battery was mostly empty-6 hour charge time. Always the same routine: get wrench box from cabinet, open, notice the battery is empty, connect a charger, go to garage, pick LiIon screwdriver from the car, go to shop, suitcase on and finally get going ... That's why I was looking for a handy, network Betz rubbed drill, which can be used as a screwdriver and came across this Skil. After initial hesitation, I have decided because of the price for it and am very satisfied. It is now close at hand in the bank charging my workbench and is always ready for use. Of course, not comparable with my Makita screwdriver, but doing their duty. From her picture, I thought the screwdriver, had the mini-size of 10.8 Volt Bosch GSR. However, it is as big as a full-fledged electric screwdriver, but very handy. It runs in the 2nd gear for drilling a bit too slow, the torque setting is really not very good (19/20 are already like the Bohrstufe- no torque detectable) and the motor magnetism is not sufficiently shielded by the housing. When fine metal chips lie near the screwdriver, he looks short of it like a hedgehog. Even small screws stick to the case-fixing screws. In my opinion, minor faults which you must take into account due to the low price. Alone for the great idea already 5 star !!!
