The mat is of value for money compared to other mats extremely cheap (have 14,95 incl. Shipping cost). You do not stink. Only in exercises where you lie on your stomach and almost touches the mat with the nose, a slight rubber smell is noticeable (though I no longer find bad). The mat is really nice and thick, so you is very comfortable and thermally insulated. Man "sinks" but not or so). You will just be without curling up on the sides. The top is pleasantly smooth, the bottom fluted and non-slip. The mat is not too heavy, so you could also take it well (strap is). I use them but only perfect home (on very hard wooden floor) and find the mat to practice Pilates on. Some reviewers have "lasting impressions" complains that I personally find important; noticed these sites are me though the strap, but not by me - probably because I practice while lying / etc knees and not standing up. When would really disturb someone so (possibly more with yoga?), You should refer to a harder / thinner mat perhaps. I would recommend the mat to practice Pilates definitely!
