Customer Review

"The Prince (The Princes, in English) are a German music group. The band is made up of former members of the St. Thomas Boys Choir, a choir of the Thomaskirche (St. Thomas' Church) in Leipzig, Germany, where Johann Sebastian Bach which music director for many years. Their lyrics are "often humorous, tongue-in-cheek critiques of German government or society" (from Wikipedia).

My children are studying German in school. They are 8 and 11. I play this for them in the car, And They pick out words They Know. They like the music, and it purely Forces what they 're doing in school.

The music is pop, fairly mellow, with nice melodies. This was my first album The Prince, and I chose it Because it was a capella, Thinking That It Would Be Easier for us to understand, or at least pick out a few words here and there. I was right.

My favorite tracks are Royal Blood, Millionär and my best friend. The sound reminds me of the a capella groups I used to swoon over in my pre-college days, in the late 70's. I can not vouch for the content but this is a mainstream group, and judging by the sound and the graphics On Their album, There's nothing hard-core here.

Recommended for kids and adults learning German.
