Still very impressed with the performance of the Tomasz Stanko Quartet on the Viersen Jazz Festival, I have with this CD,
play 3/4 of the staff, quickly accessed - on the - next to Manu Katché and Jan Garbarek.
I have rarely heard such a homogeneous Jazz Album.
The pieces go scary fast ear without looking foolish. No matter what occupation, whether trio, quartet or quintet, the interplay between the musicians is perfectly coordinated, where Manu Katché supported perfectly by his sensitive playing the solo parts of his teammates.
Since his years of experience with different musicians and musical styles is noticeable by setting percussive splashes of color to the tone-painting of the soloists.
As with the excellent pianist Stanko Marcin Wasilewski striking of me strongly reminiscent of the young Herbie Hancock. Fantastically the melancholy trumpet solos by Stanko. About the qualities of Jan Garbarek I need sure not to waste words.
The thickness of the plate is the perfect ensemble playing.
No unnecessary ego trips, but empathetic Successive entering and complete making this record a wonderful listening experience.
Recording technology is ECM standard and that is unique.
No other jazz label brings music as true to detail and equipped with a warm sound on the CD.
Conclusion: Everything is just right. For the price and quickly access essential Why not order the trio plate of Marcin Wasilewski equal.
