After almost 12 years, Digital Film Cameras I decided to buy a digital SLR (SRK). I had previously been a Canon EOS 500N with two good lenses, so it made sense that I have a Canon SRK buy me, with which I can use my Objektve again.
I had a choice between the EOS 1100D and the EOS 600D is almost twice as expensive / EOS 550D. In the Product Reviews were partly strongly discouraged from purchasing the EOS 1100D, because they have too few features. I have back and forth thinking and then but ordered the EOS 1100D. Finally, I am not a professional photographer, but rather one who wants to cling photographically now and then a few nice moments. Also, I'm not as well versed, I want de shutter speed, aperture and ISO speed dial to match the photo. I've had enough of the fully automatic mode. And the EOS 1100D has them even a few. I use only the automatic mode with flash and without flash. Everything else I will probably never use. So why then buy twice as expensive SRK ??

With Amazon ordered, two days later I had the package in front of me on the table. Super!

The SRK makes me a good impression. Although the housing is made of plastic instead of metal, but the more expensive competitors have even a plastic case. The surface of the housing is somewhat rough, the SRK not flutscht a while handling out of hand. My old EOS lenses fit like a glove and work great.
The great thing about the EOS 1100D is the quality of the photos. Every detail is a hair's breadth, and also in poor lighting conditions to make, for example in a church in well-exposed photos without flash. The miniature cameras I would even hinbekommen not so well-exposed photo with flash.
Sure, a digital SRK has compared to the miniature cameras also disadvantages: It drags back a kilo around with them, which also is quite bulky. A miniature camera on the other hand, however weighs just 200g and fits into a shirt or trouser pocket. But the quality of the photos convinced when SRK and I train on holiday like a bag around with me.

I'm looking forward to my Borkum vacation and going with my Tokina zoom lens (25 - 400 mm) have the opportunity to hold seals and gulls and many other sweet memories in photographs.

I have the camera now excited already about half a year and I am still. On my Borkum vacation I made great photos with it, not a single photo has become blurred or out. However, I am Objktiv exchange lazy and my Tokina lens has no lock, which prevents the lens is pulled from the dead weight in the length. So I also treated myself to the Tamron 18-200mm lens Amazon. Sure, a Canon EOS 1100D may not be as good as a Canon EOS 600D or another camera, the easy cost twice or three times. But the differences noted someone who is not a photo-professional, not at all. For ordinary petrol this camera is enough perfectly. I recordable manner will almost never choose himself the aperture and shutter speed, for which there is the great automatic programs ... I too have before buying wrestled with me, whether I should buy "bad" camera one such or rather a few hundred euros spend more and to buy a more expensive camera. I'm glad that I saved the money and I was able to buy a great lens, a 16GB SD card and a great leather case for the saved extra charge.

So folks, if you play with the Geanken, you zuzulegen a digital SLR camera instead of your digital compact camera and you are not professional photographer, then you make no mistake, if you do the Canon EOS 1100D is buying.
