I have next to an iPad2 and a cheap Android Tablet (Yarvik Xenta 10ic) now risen this tablet. With respect to the technical specifications (Intel Z3735F and 2GB RAM) I was a bit skeptical about the performance, but I would positively surprised. Of course, the device can not compete with my laptop (Dell E4300, 8GB RAM, 240GB SSD, Intel P9600), but he does his job properly. So a 400-page Word document could be opened and edited in Desktop Mode, which also has numerous fields (Citavi reference management). Those coming from iOS or Android will be 8.1 bit disappointed with respect to the operation of Windows. Also, the app-supply and the apps themselves (eg. B. ORF video library) do not match the operating concept of the other systems. In the field of Android, there are a great emulator of AMIDuOS on the Maxdata B10 works very well (z. B. Clash on clans). But now to the tablet itself: + What I really liked is that the tablet has a USB3 connection has full size and additionally a microUSB has (adapter is included). For network operation, I resorted to a USB LAN adapter anchor, which also worked without any problems. + The processor delivers a decent performance, which of course you can not expect miracles (perhaps would for a few euros more, a larger processor maybe inside?) + The IPS display is viewing angle stable and easy to read, but it is reflected in appropriate lighting conditions (a screen protector is applied to the device). The resolution is 1280x800. The display now and then did not react the same to touch with your fingers, but there were no problems with pen. From time to time (with a very dark background) and halos are clearly recognizable. + A special feature is the bay for an optional UMTS module (40, - EUR) + Large battery with 7900mAh, with the first use of this after 4 hours was empty, probably due to the infected Cover keyboard (has been ordered in the set). + HDMI minijack + Fast reacting support (has even apologized that the email was answered after two hours), the umtauschte the device immediately (due to a small housing gap). + For me as an Austrian, was not without interest that Maxdata now is in Alpine hand and I therefore support its own economy and I may hope for a quick, German support. + Compact Power Charger (the Yarvik charger is much larger and heavier). + Keyboard cover with magnetic closures (not too hard). The keys are of course very close and the tap used to, but still better than the on-screen keyboard. You can connect a full keyboard on the normal USB port anyway. + Bluetooth mouse (Dicota BlueLight) was recognized without problems. + Two alautsprecher that are placed at the top and are not covered when holding. + The rear 2MP camera is installed so that the tablet is evenly seated (with a high of some other models easily preside in the pictures). Front side also 2MP. For simple photo documentation or Skype, the cameras are sufficient but more one must not expect. + Tablet can be good in the hand and has a rubberized back in. o A little small sized memory of 2GB (why cost devices with 4GB nearly 100, - EUR more?) o "hard disk" with 32GB somewhat closely sized (wished 64GB eMMC), there is only half available through Windows. o SD expansion with officially 32GB (similar devices can be personalized with 64GB or 128GB operate well), a 64GB SD card from SanDisk (Ultra UHS-1 Class 10) but was easily detected. o small gap at the bottom of housing (display surface lies at a greater pressure slightly depressing). Likely a problem of the plastic housing, as with other manufacturers, his (unit but was replaced without hesitation, however, the replacement device behave the same - nothing bad, but for the perfectionist sometimes but annoying to know that they do not hold 100% device in hands) , o own socket for charging (positive again for me, because this is exactly the same connection as the Yarvik Tablet and I now therefore dispose also a car charger adapter). On the other hand, is not connected to the Micro-USB port loading.
Alternative devices were eg the ODYS Wintab V10, but where the Tastaur is very hard (total weight 1.3kg) and has no 3G expansion and no full-size USB port, but for about 50 -. Is cheaper. My tip would be to Maxdata some extra money in a better processor Z3775, 64GB eMMC and 4GB RAM to invest and then in the 300, - to establish class (there are hardly any devices).
