Processing (and the price):
Well, what you want to at this price have other than plastic. Basically, the HDR is very well finished, rough and / or sharp edges, corners, and guides are not noticed. But skepticism one wonders here and there, how long some parts withstand the maximum 110bar of HDR. Yet all I can not say too much, after one "Kärchern" But for about 45 minutes so far no signs of fatigue have been found. The price was but here again highlighted, If you want a higher-quality processing or even a professional device you have to take into account a multiple of the price of this little miracle cleaning.
The assembly:
A guidance lies with the Kärcher indeed, they are however not needed really as simple as the assembly. Push handle in the guides, press rotary nozzle into handle and twist until it clicks. Screw the pressure hose at the pump connection, remove the clip on the handle, push the hose onto the connector and snap the clip again. Screw the garden hose connector on the back of the HDR and you're done. However, here too plastic, where the eye is sufficient.
Handling:
Connect, turn on and unlock the lever on the trigger gun to Kärcher on the power and the water line - Time to "Loskärchern"! Basically, the HDR is so light that you can carry it with one hand, while high pressure cleans the other. Limited is one case actually only by power cables and water hose, significant "rebound" does not generate the high pressure gun. The volume (concerning noise problems the neighbors) is very limited, especially since the pump only starts up when the lever is actuated on the handle. Leaving the lever, this small Kärcher is quiet as a mouse.
The cleaning performance:
I have thus just 25m² concrete slabs cleaned on the terrace. Before Kärcher me moss and exceptionally stubborn remnants of barbecue ashes have driven almost to despair. With the HDR the terrace was a breeze and the plates look like new. Even if one cleans a disk from which one thinks they would actually clean, the Kärcher dirt still gets away. After a time came because the child in me to light and I "gekärchert" with the rotary nozzle pattern on the plates. Top performance, so clean you do not even get the plates in the building materials trade.
CONCLUSION:
This is the HDR Kärcher K2 far though to no professional device, but nevertheless he performs small miracles with its cleaning power and should for smaller tasks one HDR missing in any household. For EUR50, - here you get great performance for a short operation on small areas and for the Kärcher has earned a strong buy recommendation.
