Basically, it's a great printer.
- Prints very quickly
- Prints quiet (and if one of the whole fast pressure but is too noisy, you can select a slower pressure is still fast, and you can hear almost nothing). That was at the Youtube videos my biggest concern, that it is very loud, but he is in my eyes, in comparison with our laser printers.
- Duplex worked well, but a lot slower, but acceptable.
Send additional functions such as print, PDF via email or store on a release was quickly established.
To apply on a Windows Server 2012 as a network printer worked without great effort (only that HP, the printer driver only in a .exe available and one with 7zip and Co, the data had to specially extract to get to the driver itself).
Fi and fax, we have not tested.
Scanning is ok, but is faster indents.
Where I had no problem with, although I read it frequently:
- No paper jams, no duplex or normal mode, or even when there was no rift ejection. Although unacceptable that you can load up to 500 sheets, and the ejection to 300 sheets is full, so you can print more, and does not fit, you will have a problem. What they were thinking, I really unclear, because it would have been easy to increase the ejection (then not a 500-sheet paper replacement could just fit including, but larger ejection I find important.
The only reason why we have chosen is not for this printer, the print quality of the 8 year old laser worlds is still better than the inkjet printer. Laser-killer, as he is often referred to, so as not true, because the laser printer was also an office printer, a photo printer and with 8 year certainly can not be compared with current models. A recent Minolta A3 printer that we have in use, is the quality that is still a plan. With the HP-paper, we can indeed find a noticeably better quality, but still no comparison. The more expensive paper one must also take into account the cost of printing,
the laser that is right no matter what you feed him.
In addition to our office the bypass tray was a little misplaced, because we could not use the can,
he on the side and not in front is (where the remaining paper comes in). If there is enough space, it is certainly no problem.
We will now use the existing printer and have invested in spare parts that do not exist at the ink printer, and hope he keeps something through, and then probably move to a new laser from HP. Because a crying eye, I had already, Duplex, ADF, speed and ease of use have definitely convinced. But since we mainly colorful graphics and images to print, there was unfortunately nothing for us, the colors just beautiful up in the laser marker and you must not use, unfortunately smeared heavily. Had we had no comparison, he would have stayed.
The included Setup cartridges also provide to the 1000 - 2000 pages depending on coverage, but were then something quickly than expected. Whether the coverage of 5% with 5% of a laser are comparable I doubt something, but there were setup, which of course is not very meaningful.
