One would have to shoot my face as I cast for the first time as a reference Oblivion BluRay on the wall.
At 3.50m width, great colors, rich contrast and deep sharpness of detail, I was and still am to this day still fascinates.
I was instantly in love, euphoria took hold, my quality of life is appreciably increased by a lot of percentage points ;-)
Since then I call my 46 inch Philips Ambilight 'lovingly' stamp TV
For this I have a Samsung Blu-Ray player (psc = 1) with DVB-S2 Tuner (have satellite) gained.
About the HDMI box of Blu-ray players are now connected (ie can the Beamer TV), and a Zotac computer incl. Wireless mouse and keyboard for playing different media formats and of course Surfing & Office to 3m wide.
Since my amplifier (Denon RCD 100) has no optical input, I have between the HDMI box and amplifier an optical converter (PSC = 1) connected (stereo just fine to me).
The TV is also connected to the output of the HDMI Boxes, so has my wife may also TV (if I'm not there) over the stamp and use as a satellite TV Reciever the Samsung Blu-Ray player.
Incidentally, I do not use canvas as understanding heard my wife
The wall on the I project is (the remaining walls, floor stones cream color) painted only Plastered (no wallpaper), and as usual with standard white wall paint. The quality is still impressive, an additional investment is therefore not necessary at all at the point in my opinion.
Depending on the format, I can at about 5m distance with a maximum width of about 4m zoom reach. The quality is as already erwähn brilliant. For this of course has to establish a resolution of 1080p.
During the day (Have the right of the Beamer a full wall of windows 5m width south exposure). When the sun shines fully to be a bit dim so that the image quality remains acceptable.
A complete darkening is not with this projector in both living rooms and Dynamic mode necessary. For both modes, I absolutely recommend the LPE filter, otherwise the picture a little green / yellow is fusty.
And so we come to the downside. In these two modes, the projector is easily audible. In a fast-paced action movie that is no problem at all but in quieter scenes you can hear (especially in the beginning until the habit) the fan pretty clearly.
Meanwhile, however, I find the fan no longer on.
But I would buy despite the minus point the device back.
I answer other questions gladly
PS Since I have the equipment I will from time to time even persuade the crime scene watching me ;-)
