One thing first, this was my first Puzzlepad, so I've just no comparison. Now for the review: The Puzzlepad comes with a white felt mat on the standard sizes of the puzzle are recorded and three red plastic tubes which can be screwed into each other. Screwing succeeds very well with a little trial and error. The actual mat is folded because of the packaging, so after unpacking kinks are at that. Here it is important to the mat before the first use to iron (lowest setting - as indicated on pad). Once you have done that is the pad for use. After two weeks, I can now say test: I am thrilled and can not understand the partially bad reviews. The rolling up I have always managed - of course you have already started to attention - and I am still not a puzzle broke. The liability of the puzzle on the mat is not overly strong. I think that's good but because you may move the puzzle yet - when you pull it. So great Puzzle Pad - highly recommended for the price.
