Previously, I've experimented with various cheap and expensive specimens with the raised rubber tip and have to say that the work is to me the Jot Pro no comparison! With it, it works a lot more intuitive and fluid, almost like a real pen. While the rubber specimens ever developed a dull sense of time, as if you were gliding with an eraser on the screen of your tablet, go to writing or drawing Working with the Jot Pro even after months still slightly out of hand.
In all the time I could incidentally also discover no scratches on my screen. However, I count meticulously that no dirt on the Jot Pro sits. Well, in the context, the cap is not easily attached, but is screwed! This of course is sitting safe and tight in order to protect the tip when not in use. In addition, you can then tighten the cap when using the stylus at the upper end, so you can not lose the cap. Was a bit of getting used to, but it makes total sense.
Nevertheless, one should not expect miracles from the Jot Pro. The stylus can be ever so good to have fun with it, you need a rule then also a clever app. Especially on smaller phone screen, I recommend an app with zoom function (eg mobile phone touch Pro), otherwise you write two words and the screen or the page is already full. Power of course not make much sense. With the zoom function (there are many good note-Apps), however, you can write on a portion of the display comfortably large, and it is then displayed a bit smaller (but of course read) on the actual page.
A star deduction I admit, because I lack the Jot Pro, a clip with which you could attach it to pen holders / pen loops. My Tablet I have in a protective case with such a pen loop. Due to the all-round protection I can not attach the stylus with its magnetic feature on the tablet (which in practice has always held not very good), through the loop, however, he slips through. Here's a little clip would have done wonders. In addition, the clip could serve as an additional safeguard, because currently the stylus is round, that one must be careful that he does not accidentally rolls off the table - which should be no cap "fatal" for the loose top. A clip on the side would prevent such roles automatically.
