I use the machine for testing our solar batteries and to determine the cold start performance of our car batteries. The examiner is testing under load (100 A) which corresponds to the flow of current when starting, so I see now what about the battery condition, because only the voltage does not say anything. When a cell is defective or one or more cells significantly worse than the others, breaks the tension immediately and the battery is still unusable. In the first test, the assembly grease of the load resistor burns behind the grille above the housing, it smokes a little. So do not wonder ... test duration should wirlich sake of the unit and the battery are not exceeded, it is already "warm" ...
