This device looks something like a computer mouse and is great as in some, to connect the device with the supplied power adapter and plugs in it into the socket. At the "mouse" are then three about 50 cm long thin cord, at the end of each a self-infrared diode sits that can be directly stuck to the infrared sensor of the device to be controlled or in the vicinity.
Result: you hold your infrared remote control only in the direction of the "mouse" and this directs the IR signals to the self-adhesive diode.
And it works well, I have a Philips Universal IR FB and three Philips appliances and all now run properly.
