Grace Jones First Appeared in the mid 70's working in NYC nightclubs and Eventually landing a record deal with Iceland Record in 1977. Her disco years were great Producing search hits as "La Vie en Rose" which is a beautiful rendition of the original and therefore landing a # 1 spot with her then theme "I Need a Man". As disco faded in the early 80's Grace changed with it; She hooked up with Jean-Paul Goude and together They created the Grace we all know today; The Fierce "in your face" personality that's been Utilized in movies, on stage and in records.
