Have a friend Lopper since "time immemorial" with wooden handles, and they did without hesitation clean their services. Now I wanted a bigger, again with wooden handles (feel more comfortable in the hand than the Aluscheren with plastic handles). After the first section of a hazel bush - really no hard wood - the knife was definitely broken, so that the resulting nick it prevented that one could close the gap. Apparently the blade had not been cured. It looked like a cheap sheet metal.
